| Work Experience in Rheinbach - Summer 2006

My name is Keely Speller and I am studying Economics with German at the University of Birmingham. I have taken part in two exchanges and completed two weeks work experience in Rheinbach and this summer I had the opportunity to take part in -some more work experience. I spent two weeks working with WFEG-GTZ. This is a company in Rheinbach which tries to encourage and promote business within the area of Rheinbach. Within the two weeks I learnt a lot an improved my German (hopefully!). I spent time with all the people in the small team at WFEG-GTZ who endeavoured to explain what part they played in the company. I had a tour of the building where their offices are and where they rent out office and workshop space to small or start up businesses, I also had a tour of their two industrial sites and learnt about the details about all the details about the development of these sites. |
